Born from a series of text-message conversations with artist Robert Torbica, this collection reimagines songs that have either disappeared from streaming platforms or were never officially released. Removed from their original context, they return as distant, altered versions of themselves, like mirages of what they once were or might have become.

The first album released under the Always Your Beauty name captures an incarnation of the project that desperately tried to become a full band, shaped by external pressure to meet the expectations of the local live scene. Though created under strain, its songs explore different forms of sadness with vibrant energy. Together, they gave life to a fictional band that existed only briefly.

This series of songs reinforced the project’s incarnation-based format, bringing together longtime collaborators Adam Garner and Michael Farina with musicians who, at that point, had only met online. Written collectively across distances, the songs explore raw and personal themes through an unlikely blend of mariachi, goth-punk, and alternative rock.

These songs celebrate the creative connection between Octavio Juarez and Adam Garner, who first met through Reddit. Living on different continents, they used digital platforms to exchange ideas and write together across the distance. This EP brings together the first three songs from that ongoing collaboration, celebrating the friendships that can grow online and become deeply real.

This EP marks a turning point for Octavio Juarez as a singer, songwriter, and producer. Across these recordings, he confronts his insecurities around recording and production, along with the fear of embracing a solo path. In doing so, he lays the groundwork for what would become a malleable, incarnation-based collective. These songs form the true foundation of the project’s sound.
